Christian Schubert has played second clarinet for the Houston Symphony since 1996 when he was appointed by former music director Christoph Eschenbach. He is a native of Burbank, California. His passions and work have taken him around the world with the Houston Symphony. Christian’s other recent projects include sound engineering and producing music for local performing artists, including the Houston Brass Band, and many more by his company, Schubert Recording Services. He also serves as an artist and clinician and Bugget Crampon USA and D’Addario Woodwinds.
